Appalachian State University faculty and renowned artist Tim Ford in a week-end workshop focused on drawing the human figure from life. Participants will be led through a series of drawing exercises designed to strengthen familiarity with the figure and increase fluidity of technique leading to more expressive and dynamic content.
Participants will explore gesture and organization drawing using charcoal, graphite, and paint. This course allows for a wide range of abilities from beginner to advanced.
There will be a one-hour lunch break from 12noon to 1pm.
There is a minimum enrollment of ten (10) and a maximum of fifteen (15).
This event is presented as part of the Programs for Teens and Adults program.
